How It All Started
For years, I thrived in administration—Office Manager, HR Manager, Quality Assurance. I loved the work, but what truly fulfilled me was being the person others turned to when they needed help, a listening ear, or someone to solve the impossible problem.
But something was shifting. I was working 40+ hours a week, constantly juggling deadlines, and my family was getting whatever was left of me. Deep down, I knew they needed more. I needed more of them, too.

Then everything changed.
One day, my 15-year-old granddaughter was followed on her way home from school. She called my daughter on FaceTime, and the moment the man saw her on screen, he turned and walked away.
That moment shook me. The fear in my daughter’s voice, the what-ifs that filled my mind — I knew I never wanted any family to experience that kind of fear again.
So, I made a decision. I left my job and devoted myself to something that truly mattered — teaching women and children how to stay safe and aware.
It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. Every time I teach a class or share a story, I think of her — and I’m reminded why I do this work.
Because no one should ever have to walk in fear.
This isn’t just my passion — It’s my purpose.
